Please let me welcome you to the webpage of Visit Sineu, which will help you get to know many places and features of our great town. This town, way back in the middle ages formed an important part of Mallorca’s history as it was the home of King Jaime II.
I therefore invite you to come and visit us and have fun. I would like to highlight the traditional food you will find in the typical bodegas and restaurants, as well as the pleasant streets and squares you can walk around and be reminded of days gone by. And we can never forget the farmland that surrounds us offering such beautiful views.
So from all of us here in Sineu, please enjoy our gem, our town: the prettiest place in the centre of Mallorca.
Ricardo Gago was born in august 1949 in Montamarta, a village in the province Zamora. When he is two years old he moves with his parents to La Felguera (Langreo), in Asturias, where he lives until he is seventeen. In the mid-sixties he moves to Majorca. Before settling down in Sineu, he lives in Paguera, Palma and Alaró.
