Forn Ca‘n Toni is a family run traditional bakery and cake shop, it has been open over 100 years, and is located in Sa Plaça.
They prepare typical Mallorquin produce like ensaimadas (a sweet round pastry), empanadas, cocarrois (pies or pasties filled with meat or vegetables) and crespells (a traditional biscuit). It is all made by hand and always with the best ingredients. They have many years of baking experience, offering a large variety of cakes and confectionary and specializing in all types of ensaimadas.
They also offer a great range of Mallorquin bread, white and brown, as well as lots of different wholemeal breads, llonguets (traditional Catalan bread) French sticks, chapattis, etc.
This artisan company sticks to one of Mallorca’s main gastronomic traditions. Their handmade products, amongst which the Sobrasada de Mallorca stands out, are made up of mainly cold meats.
A lot of attention goes into quality control, using carefully selected local pigs and smoked paprika. All of this added to Sineu’s excellent climate gives their meats and exquisite aroma and taste.
It was in 1995 when discerning the needs of a town that was constantly growing, they decided to do their “little bit” and opened a food company.
So in May 1999, and with the same family atmosphere of shops from years gone by, they opened CAS MARINER SUPERMARKET. A shop with plenty of aisle space, an extensive selection of produce, traditional service – always opting for face to face interaction with their clients – and offering a series of services for their convenience, like advice on the best choice of produce or free delivery.
This concept has gone down so well that the company has grown and grown, and in 2010 they decided to enlarge their premises, to the size they are now.
